over the West Entrance of Juan de Fuca Strait.
At 4:00 a.m. PST today low 974 mb located northwest of Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today low 974 mb located over the northern Gulf
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:57 AM PST 8 March 2014 A strong Pacific frontal system near Northern Vancouver Island will
slowly slide southward and reach the South Coast late this afternoon.
Meanwhile, a 974 MB low northwest of Bowie will continue to move
Over central waters and near Northern Vancouver Island gale force
southeast winds will ease to strong force southerlies in the wake of
the front. However, strong to gale force southerlies over northern
waters will become strong westerlies as the low departs.
Elsewhere over southern waters winds will rise to strong to gale
force southeasterlies this morning.
