northeast-southwest over the Lower Mainland.
At 4:00 p.m. PDT today low 995 mb located southwest of Explorer.
By midnight PDT tonight low 980 mb located over central Vancouver
At 4:00 a.m. PDT Wednesday high 987 mb located west of the offshore
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Wednesday low 981 mb located over southern Bowie.

Move northward to reach the Gulf Of Alaska by Wednesday
Morning and gradually weaken through the day Wednesday. The trailing
cold front over Northern Vancouver Island will slide down southward
to the Lower Mainland by Wednesday morning. Gale force
Southeasterly winds ahead of the low and gale to storm force
southwesterly winds in its wake will continue tonight over most
northern and central waters.
An area of low pressure developing over the southern offshore
Waters will cross Central Vancouver Island near midnight. On its
track gale force southeasterly winds will develop over most of the
southern waters tonight.
Another low pressure system will approach the central waters
Wednesday morning and will move northeastward to lie over Southern
Bowie Wednesday afternoon. The low will reach the west coast Haida
Gwaii by Wednesday overnight. On its track gale force westerly or
southwesterly winds will develop over central and northern
Waters ahead of the low. Winds will become gale to storm
Force northwesterly winds in its wake.
