Issued 3:30 PM AST 2 March 2015 Tonight and Tuesday At 3:30 p.m. AST today intensifying low 995 mb located northeast
of Sable Island.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight intensifying low 980 mb located over
southern Newfoundland.

At 8:00 a.m. AST Tuesday ridge located from Quebec to the East
Coast of the U.S.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Tuesday ridge located on a line north-south over
the western Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:26 PM AST 2 March 2015 A low pressure system will intensify as it tracks across the marine
district this evening. Strong to gale force southerlies ahead of the
low will shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.
The northwesterly winds will reach storm force over northeastern
regions.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Banquereau..Cabot Strait..Gulf-Magdalen..And Anticosti. Gale warnings
are in effect for all remaining waters.

Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Fundy..Grand Manan..
Lurcher..Browns Bank..Southwestern shore..LaHave Bank..Eastern
Shore..Sable..Fourchu..Banquereau..Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait.
