Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:48 AM NST 24 February 2017 A low pressure system over Northeast Coast will move eastward to lie
east of Funk Island Bank this afternoon. Strong to gale force
southwesterlies south of the low will diminish this evening.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, Funk Island Bank - southern
half, and the Northern Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Northeast Coast,
Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
