By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the East Coast of Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over Laurentian Fan.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough located east of the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:55 AM NDT 25 October 2016 A trough of low pressure over Laurentian Fan will pass just southeast
of the Avalon Peninsula early today then move east of the marine
district this evening. A brief period of strong to gale force south
to southeasterlies are forecast to spread over areas to the south and
east of its track.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south, Northern Grand Banks and
Southwestern Grand Banks.
