Island Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Saturday departing low 999 mb located east of
the Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located over Nova Scotia.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Saturday ridge located on a line north-south over
the East Coast of Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:51 PM NDT 18 August 2017 A low pressure system near the southeastern edge of the Funk Island
Bank will track eastward tonight. Gale force northeasterlies north of
the low shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.
Winds will begin to diminish overnight as the low moves away.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
South Coast, East Coast, Northeast Coast, Funk Island Bank - northern
half and the Grand Banks.
