Issued 8:00 PM NST 26 January 2015 Tonight and Tuesday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over southern Labrador Sea.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Tuesday departing trough located east of Belle
Isle Bank.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located from Quebec to the Grand
Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Tuesday ridge located from Labrador to Belle
Isle Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Tuesday approaching warm front located south of
the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:57 PM NST 26 January 2015 A trough of low pressure over the South Labrador Sea will swing
across Belle Isle Bank tonight. Gale to storm force west to
northwesterlies can be expected over northern waters tonight into
early Tuesday south of this trough.

On Tuesday, an approaching warm frontal trough will bring gale force
easterlies to southern and Gulf waters by afternoon. Winds will shift
to gale force southwesterlies over southern waters by Tuesday
evening.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank - northeastern half. Gale warnings are in effect all
remaining waters except Strait of Belle Isle, and Northeast Gulf.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except South Coast, East Coast - Cape St.
Francis and south, and the Grand Banks.
