Issued 8:00 PM NDT 23 March 2017 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight intensifying low 986 mb located over
eastern Belle Isle Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Friday departing low 979 mb located northeast
of Belle Isle Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT Friday ridge located west of the Maritimes.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Friday ridge located over western Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:43 PM NDT 23 March 2017 A low pressure system over the Eastern Belle Isle Bank will continue
eastward tonight and then northward towards Greenland on Friday.
Gale to storm force northerlies can be expected north of the low's
track, while strong to gale force southwesterlies can be expected to
its south. All winds will diminish Friday as the low moves away.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
the Belle Isle Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the all waters except the Southern Grand Banks.
