By 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located over Funk Island Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday low located north of Anticosti Island.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday low located over Funk Island Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:10 AM NDT 25 September 2017 At 6:30 AM NDT hurricane Lee was located near 31.1 north, 49.4 west.
Maximum sustained winds were 80 knots and the central pressure was
980 millibars.

Lee is drifting westward and is not expected to affect the marine
district of Atlantic Canada.

At 6:30 AM NDT hurricane Maria was located near 30.6 north, 73.0
west. Maximum sustained winds were 70 knots and the central pressure
was 957 millibars.

Maria is moving slowly northward and is expected to enter the
Canadian Hurricane Centre response zone Thursday night or Friday.
