Marine Weather StatementIssued 5:54 AM NST 20 January 2017 An intensifying low pressure system southwest of the marine district
will move to lie over the Southeastern Grand Banks by Saturday
morning before slowly moving eastward out of the district. Gale to
storm force northeasterlies will develop over eastern waters ahead of
the low today and shift to gale to storm force northwesterlies in its

East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south and the Grand Banks.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters except Strait of
Belle Isle, Gulf waters, and Northeast Coast - north of Cape St.
