Issued 3:00 AM NDT 23 October 2016 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 980 mb located over Maine.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday weakening low 984 mb located over eastern

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough from low located over the Northeast
Coast of Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday trough from low located over northern
Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:56 AM NDT 23 October 2016 A low pressure system over Maine will continue to deepen today before
weakening as it moves over Eastern Quebec tonight. Meanwhile, a
trough of low pressure extending eastward from the low across
Newfoundland will move to lie over the Belle Isle Bank tonight.
Strong to gale force northeasterlies are expected north of the
trough. South of the trough strong to gale force southerlies will
gradually weaken today and tonight as a second weaker trough moves
over the region.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the Northeast Gulf - southeastern half, Gulf - Port au
Port - southeastern half, East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis,
Northeast Coast, and the Funk Island Bank.
