Issued 8:00 PM NST 27 February 2017 Tonight and Tuesday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing trough located east of the
Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough located southeast of Anticosti
Island.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Tuesday departing trough located east of Funk
Island Bank.

By 3:30 p.m. NST Tuesday approaching ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:51 PM NST 27 February 2017 A trough of low pressure well east of the marine district will
continue out to sea this evening. Strong to gale force westerlies are
forecast in its wake.

A second trough of low pressure approaching from the west will cross
Newfoundland tonight. Strong to gale force southwesterly winds ahead
of the trough shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies behind
it.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle and the Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port,
East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle
Bank, Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand Banks.
