Issued 3:00 AM NST 2 December 2015 Today Tonight and Thursday At 3:00 a.m. NST today trough located over northern Labrador Coast.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Thursday dissipating trough located over Belle
Isle Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today trough from 1013 mb low located northwest
of Nova Scotia.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Thursday trough from 1001 mb low located over
the South Coast of Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today deepening low 1013 mb located near Cape Cod.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Thursday deepening low 1001 mb located over the
Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:55 AM NST 2 December 2015 A trough of low pressure will move southward across the Labrador Sea
today. Strong to gale force southwesterlies are expected over
northern waters ahead of this feature.

Additionally, a trough extending from a low pressure system near Cape
Cod is expected to track across Southern Newfoundland tonight then
out to sea on Thursday. Strong to gale force southerlies will develop
ahead of the trough over the Southern Grand Banks tonight.

On Thursday the low will follow the trough across Newfoundland
exiting the marine district by Thursday night. Strong to gale force
south to southwesterlies will persist over the Grand Banks ahead of
the low. In it's wake, strong to gale force north to northwesterlies
will develop over northern waters late on Thursday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island
Bank, and the Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast and
Belle Isle Bank.
