Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:51 AM NDT 24 March 2017 A low pressure system east of the Belle Isle Bank will continue
northeastward towards Greenland today. Gale to storm force
northwesterlies will diminish over northern waters by this afternoon.
Meanwhile, strong to gale force southwesterlies over the Grand Banks
will diminish this morning.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
the Belle Isle Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for Strait of Belle
Isle - eastern half, Northeast Coast, Funk Island Bank, and the Grand
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the all waters except the Southern Grand Banks.
