Issued 3:30 PM NDT 24 April 2017 Tonight and Tuesday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough located over western Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday dissipating trough located east of the
Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over the Grand Banks.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
east-west over the southern Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today intensifying low 992 mb located off
Labrador Coast.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday low 992 mb located over eastern Labrador
Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:28 PM NDT 24 April 2017 A trough of low pressure over Western Newfoundland will continue to
move across the marine district tonight. Strong to gale force
westerly winds in the wake of this trough will persist over western
waters until Tuesday evening.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Strait of Belle Isle and the Gulf waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast and
Belle Isle Bank.
