Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:23 PM NDT 25 March 2017 A low pressure system south of Banquereau will track eastward to
cross the Southern Grand Banks tonight. As it moves just east of the
Grand Banks, it will become nearly stationary and rapidly intensify.
Gale to storm force northwesterlies will develop over southern and
eastern waters behind this low.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Northern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in effect for East Coast -
Cape St. Francis and south, Funk Island Bank and the Southern Grand
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters.
