Issued 10:00 AM NST 3 December 2016 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 990 mb located south of the Avalon
By 10:00 a.m. NST Sunday low 987 mb located over the southeastern
Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today trough from 990 mb low located on a line
east-west over the northern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:40 AM NST 3 December 2016 A low pressure system just south of the Avalon Peninsula will
continue moving very slowly southeastward to lie over the Southern
Grand Banks by this evening. Strong to gale force northeasterly winds
the wake of this system will persist until this evening over western
waters and continue into Sunday over southern waters.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Northeast Gulf, Gulf-Port au Port, Southwest Coast, South Coast, East
Coast - Cape St. Francis and south, and the Southwestern Grand Banks.
