Issued 10:00 AM ADT 29 March 2024 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today quasi-stationary trough located from theGulf of St. Lawrence to Georges Bank.
At 10:00 a.m. ADT today deepening low 990 mb located southwest of
the Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 976 mb located over Southwestern Shore.
At 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday departing low 983 mb located over
Anticosti Island.

Issued 9:46 AM ADT 29 March 2024 A stationary trough sits over the region today. An area of lowpressure will approach from the southwest this evening. Strong to
gale force southwesterly winds ahead of the low will veer to gale to
storm force west or northwesterlies in its wake, and diminish to
strong to gale force on Saturday.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, and East Scotian Slope - western
half. Gale warnings are in effect for Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns
Bank, southwestern shore - western half, LaHave Bank, eastern shore -
eastern half, Sable, East Scotian Slope - eastern half, Fourchu,
Banquereau - western half, Cabot Strait, Gulf - Magdalen - western
half, Chaleur - Miscou, and Anticosti - western half.
