Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today quasi-stationary ridge located near the
Great Lakes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:30 PM ADT 24 September 2016 An outbreak of cold air combined with warm waters and favourable
atmospheric conditions will give the potential for waterspout
development this evening and on Sunday over gulf of Magdalen and
Eastern Northumberland Strait waters.

At 3:00 PM ADT the center of tropical storm Karl was located near
latitude 32.1 north and longitude 61.4 west. Maximum sustained winds
are 60 knots and minimum central pressure is 993 MB. The low is
moving toward the northeast at 16 knots.

This storm will not have any significant impact on Atlantic Canada.
