By 3:30 p.m. AST Sunday low 999 mb located over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:48 PM AST 27 December 2014 An intense low pressure system over the Labrador Sea will continue to
move slowly away from the district tonight. Gale force westerlies
over some northern waters will gradually diminish as the low pulls
away.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Northern half of Banquereau..Cabot Strait..The northern half of
Gulf-Magdalen..And Anticosti.
