And 50.2 degrees west. Maximum sustained winds are 105 knots.
Minimum central pressure is approximately 956 MB. Gaston is moving
northeastward at 9 knots.
Note that Gaston is forecast to pass well south of Canadian waters.
As of 9 AM ADT tropical depression 8 is located near 35.0 degrees
north and 74.0 degrees west. Maximum sustained winds are 30 knots.
Minimum central pressure is approximately 1011 MB. It is moving
northeastward at 5 knots.
The depression could become a tropical storm today. Current
Guidance has the storm tracking over the southern slope waters
Thursday and into Friday.
