Issued 3:00 AM AST 19 November 2017 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. AST today ridge located on a line north-south over
the central Marine District.
By 3:30 p.m. AST today ridge located on a line north-south over
Newfoundland.

At 10:00 a.m. AST today deepening low 981 mb located over southern
Quebec.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Monday low 975 mb located over western Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:47 AM AST 19 November 2017 A low pressure system over Southern Quebec will track northeastward
today and move into Western Labrador Monday morning. South to
southeasterly winds ahead of this system will increase to gale force
across the marine district today. Winds will shift to generally
strong southwesterlies later tonight as the low passes north of the
region but will become gale force over northern gulf St Lawrence as
well as southwestern waters on Monday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.

Marine interests are also advised that higher than normal water
levels can be expected near high tide this afternoon for the Bay of
Chaleur, the gulf coast from Miramichi north, and eastern facing
coastlines of the Gaspé Peninsula. Storm surge and waves are expected
to impact those areas Sunday afternoon possibly causing minor
flooding.
