By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday ridge located over the Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NST Monday approaching low 1006 mb located over
southwestern Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:52 AM NST 1 March 2015 A low pressure system is forecast to develop off the American
seaboard tonight and then track northeastward to reach Southwestern
Newfoundland by Monday evening. Southeasterly gales will develop over
southern waters by late Monday ahead of this system.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast and the Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the Southern Grand Banks.
