Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:45 PM NST 19 February 2017 A low pressure system over Funk Island Bank will track northeastward
to lie east of Funk Island Bank overnight tonight. Strong to gale
force southerly winds over southern and eastern waters ahead of this
system will diminish to moderate southwesterlies as it departs.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank - eastern half, Northern Grand Banks, and
Southeastern Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Gulf waters and Belle Isle Bank.
