Issued 3:00 AM NST 11 December 2016 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. NST today low 959 mb located east of Labrador Sea.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday quasi-stationary low 971 mb located over
southwestern Greenland.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Monday approaching ridge located over the
Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:50 AM NST 11 December 2016 An intense and slow-moving low pressure system northeast of the
district will maintain strong to gale force northwesterlies over most
waters today and tonight. Winds will subside over most waters on
Monday as a ridge of high pressure approaches from the west.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle - western half and Gulf waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast
- Cape St. Francis and south, and the Grand Banks.
