Snow at times heavy or freezing rain changing to showers and fog patches this afternoon then to flurries late overnight. Visibility 1 mile or less in precipitation and in fog patches.

Temperatures minus 3 rising to plus 2 this afternoon then falling to minus 12 Sunday evening.

By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight low 986 mb located over Nova Scotia.

At 8:00 a.m. AST Sunday low 984 mb located over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.
By 2:00 p.m. AST Sunday low 981 mb located over southern Labrador
Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:52 AM AST 31 January 2015 A low pressure system over the southwestern shore of Nova Scotia will
slowly move northeastward today. The low will continue moving
northeastward tonight to lie over the South Coast of Labrador by
Sunday afternoon. Strong to gale force southeasterlies ahead of the
low shift to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.

Freezing spray warnings are in effect for all waters except georges
Bank..West Scotian Slope..East Scotian Slope and Laurentian Fan.
