Laurentian Fan.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight low 984 mb located over the southeastern
United States.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Monday approaching low 988 mb located south of
Long Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:20 AM AST 22 January 2017 A trough of low pressure over the central district early this
Morning will move to lie southeast of the district this evening.
Generally moderate southwesterlies ahead of the trough increase
To generally strong northerlies behind it. Colder air over
northernmost waters will bring some freezing spray over Anticosti
tonight before the northerlies diminish somewhat early Monday
morning.

A low pressure system developing over the southeastern united
States this evening will move northeast to lie south of long
Island by Monday evening. Strong easterlies ahead of this low will
affect southwestern waters later on Monday. The easterlies will
likely reach gale force over most southern waters beyond the
Current forecast period on Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Anticosti.
