Issued 3:00 AM AST 11 February 2016 Today Tonight and Friday At 3:00 a.m. AST today low located over East Scotian Slope.
By 3:30 p.m. AST today low located east of Banquereau.

At 3:00 a.m. AST today trough located over the central Marine
District.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Friday trough located over the eastern Marine
District.

At midnight AST tonight low located over Browns Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Friday low located over the southwestern Grand
Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:45 AM AST 11 February 2016 A low pressure system over East Scotian Slope will track across the
southern marine district this morning. Strong to gale force westerly
winds are forecast over southern waters associated with this
disturbance. Another low pressure system will track across the slope
waters tonight into Friday morning. A period of gale to storm force
winds are forecast with this system.


Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank..West Scotian Slope..East Scotian Slope and the
Southern half of Laurentian Fan. Gale warnings are in effect for
Browns Bank and LaHave Bank. Marine interests are also advised that
Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Fundy..Grand Manan
..Lurcher..Browns Bank..Southwestern shore..LaHave Bank..Eastern
Shore..Fourchu..Cabot Strait..Gulf-Magdalen..Chaleur-Miscou and
Anticosti.
