New England.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located on a line north-south over
the Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:29 AM ADT 21 October 2017 A trough of low pressure east of Newfoundland will continue to track
away from the district today. Strong to gale force northwesterly
winds will diminish later today and tonight as the trough departs and
a ridge approaches from the west.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, and Anticosti.
