And 45.0 degrees west. Maximum sustained winds are 85 knots. Minimum
central pressure is approximately 972 MB. Gaston is moving
northeastward at 17 knots.
Note that Gaston is forecast to pass well south of Canadian waters.
As of 3 AM ADT tropical depression 8 is located near 37.2 degrees
north and 69.1 degrees west. Maximum sustained winds are 25 knots.
Minimum central pressure is approximately 1009 MB. It is moving
east-northeastward at 14 knots.
Current guidance has the depression tracking along the southern edge
of Laurentian Fan early Friday morning.
