Snow and rain changing to showers late this afternoon with risk of thunderstorms early this evening then to chance of flurries Wednesday afternoon and evening. Fog patches forming early this evening and dissipating early Wednesday morning. Visibility 1 mile or less in precipitation and in fog patches.

Temperatures zero rising to plus 5 after midnight then falling to zero Wednesday afternoon.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:22 PM AST 27 January 2015 An area of low pressure west of Georges Bank will cross Nova Scotia
tonight to lie near Cabot Strait Wednesday evening. Gale to storm
force easterlies to southerlies ahead of the low will shift to strong
to gale force northwesterlies behind the low. Winds will diminish
from west to east during the day Wednesday.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Fundy..Grand Manan..Lurcher..Browns Bank..Southwestern shore..Lahave
Bank..Eastern shore..Fourchu..Northern half of Banquereau..Cabot
Strait..Northumberland Strait..Gulf-Magdalen and Chaleur-Miscou.
Gale warnings are in effect for Georges Bank..West Scotian Slope..
