Periods of rain with a risk of thunderstorms changing to periods of snow near midnight. Chance of flurries early Sunday morning. Visibility 1 mile or less in precipitation.

Marine Weather StatementIssued 12:31 AM ADT 29 March 2015 A low pressure system over East Scotian Slope will move
Northeastward tonight to lie over the Avalon Peninsula Sunday
morning. Gale to storm force southwesterlies south of the low become
gale to storm force northwesterlies immediately behind the low
Before diminishing early Sunday morning. Winds will continue to
diminish from west to east as the low pulls away from the district.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
West Scotian Slope..Sable..East Scotian Slope..Banquereau..And
Laurentian Fan. Gale warnings are in effect for Browns Bank..Georges
Bank..And LaHave Bank. Freezing spray warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait and Gulf-Magdalen.
