over Belle Isle Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT today departing ridge located east of the Marine

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today deepening low 987 mb located over New
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Sunday low 979 mb located north of the St. Lawrence

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today intensifying trough from low located over
Cabot Strait.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Sunday trough from low located on a line east-west
over the Great Northern Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:48 AM NDT 22 October 2016 A low pressure system over New England will deepen as it moves to lie
over Southern Quebec Sunday morning. A trough extending east of the
low will intensify as it approaches the district from the south this
afternoon. Strong to gale force northeasterlies are forecast to
develop north of the trough while strong to gale force southerlies
are forecast to its south.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis, Northeast
Coast, and Funk Island Bank.
