Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:43 AM NDT 26 September 2017 A low pressure system will cross northern Gulf waters this morning
and track eastward to lie just east of Funk Island Bank this evening.
Strong south to southwesterlies ahead of this low will shift to
strong to gale force northeast to northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Funk Island Bank - southern half.
At 3:00 AM NDT hurricane Lee was located near 30.2 north, 52.2 west.
Maximum sustained winds were 80 knots and the central pressure was

district of Atlantic Canada.

west. Maximum sustained winds were 70 knots and the central pressure
