Issued 8:00 PM NDT 19 April 2024 Tonight and Saturday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the southeastern Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Saturday departing trough located east of the
Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Cape Breton Island.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Saturday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:41 PM NDT 19 April 2024 A trough of low pressure stretching across the Southeastern Grand
Banks will move eastward tonight. Strong to gale force northerlies
behind the trough will gradually diminish tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank - southeastern half and Northern Grand Banks.
