Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:45 PM NDT 21 October 2016 A low pressure system developing along the U.S. Eastern Seaboard will
deepen as it moves to lie over Southern Quebec late Saturday.
A trough extending east of the low will intensify as it approaches
the district from the south Saturday afternoon. Strong to gale force
northeasterlies developing north of the trough veer to strong to gale
force southerlies to its south.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - western half, Northeast Gulf, Gulf-Port au
Port, Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast - Cape St. Francis and
south, and the Grand Banks.
