Issued 3:30 PM ADT 26 September 2017 Tonight and Wednesday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today trough from 997 mb low located from
Newfoundland to Prince Edward Island.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough from 994 mb low located from the
Avalon Peninsula to Nova Scotia.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday low 1002 mb located over western Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Wednesday warm front from low located from
Anticosti Island to Cabot Strait.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:21 PM ADT 26 September 2017 At 3:00 PM ADT hurricane Lee was located near 29.9 north, 54.1 west
or about 560 nautical miles east-southeast of Bermuda. Maximum
sustained winds were 90 knots, the central pressure was 975
millibars. Lee is moving west at about 10 knots.

Lee is not expected to affect Canadian forecast waters at this time.

At 3:00 PM ADT hurricane Maria was located near 33.8 north, 73.3 west
or about 142 nautical miles southeast of Cape Hatteras. Maximum
sustained winds were 65 knots, central pressure was 970 millibars.
Maria is moving north at 6 knots.

Maria will slow down tonight and pass east of the coast of North
Carolina. It will then turn northeast and approach the Southern Grand
Banks late this week. Minimal effects are expected for the Maritimes
except strong to possible gale force northerlies for southernmost
waters.
