Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:45 AM AST 16 January 2017 A trough of low pressure will approach from the northwest today and
will cross the district tonight and Tuesday morning. Strong to near
gale force southwesterly winds ahead of the trough will shift to
strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau and Cabot Strait.
Marine interests are advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for eastern shore, Sable, Fourchu, Banquereau, Cabot Strait
and the Gulf of St Lawrence waters.
