over Nova Scotia.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Thursday departing trough located east of the
Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located on a line north-south over
New England.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Thursday ridge located on a line north-south
over Newfoundland.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Thursday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Great Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Thursday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Maine.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:28 PM ADT 18 October 2017 A trough of low pressure will gradually move across the district
tonight. Strong southwesterlies ahead of the trough shift to strong
northwesterlies behind it. Over northernmost waters the
northwesterlies are expected to occasionally reach gale force this
evening before diminishing overnight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait, the northeastern half of Gulf-Magdalen, and Anticosti.
