or about 772 nautical miles east of Bermuda. Maximum sustained winds
were 80 knots, the central pressure was 980 millibars. Lee is nearly

affect the marine district of Atlantic Canada at this time.
At 9:00 AM ADT hurricane Maria was located near 30.8 north, 73.0 west
or about 327 nautical miles south-southeast of Cape Hatteras. Maximum
sustained winds were 65 knots, central pressure was 961 millibars.
Maria is moving north at 6 knots.
Maria is slowly moving northward and is expected to enter the
Canadian Hurricane Centre response zone by late Thursday or Friday
morning. Minimal effects are expected except possibly strong winds
for southernmost waters.
