Issued 10:00 AM NDT 19 April 2024 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over the Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Saturday departing trough located east of the
Marine District.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located from Labrador to the
Maritimes.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Saturday ridge located over eastern Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:51 AM NDT 19 April 2024 A trough of low pressure stretching across the Grand Banks will move
eastward today and tonight. Strong to gale force northeasterlies to
northwesterlies to the north and west of the trough will gradually
diminish today and tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Coast. East Coast, Northeast Coast, Funk Island Bank, and
Northern Grand Banks.
