Issued 8:00 PM NDT 18 April 2024 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 996 mb located off the Avalon
Peninsula.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Friday low 998 mb located east of the Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over the Gaspe Peninsula.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Friday ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over the West Coast of Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:53 PM NDT 18 April 2024 A low pressure system just east of the Avalon Peninsula will move
eastward out to sea on Friday. Strong to gale force northeast to
northwesterlies can be expected to the north and west of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle - western half, Gulf waters, and
Southeastern Grand Banks.
