Issued 3:00 AM NDT 29 April 2017 Today Tonight and Sunday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today intensifying trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over southeastern Labrador.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Sunday low 985 mb located over northwestern
Labrador Sea.

By 3:00 a.m. NDT Sunday intensifying trough located over Laurentian
Fan.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today departing ridge located east of Belle
Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:46 AM NDT 29 April 2017 A trough of low pressure currently lying over Southeastern Labrador
will move slowly northward today and then become nearly stationary
tonight and Sunday as a deepening low pressure system over the
Northwest Labrador Sea. A second trough will approach from the west
tonight and intensify as it moves eastward through the Southern Grand
Banks on Sunday. Strong to gale force northwesterlies will develop
over all waters in the wake of these two features.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and the Grand Banks.
