Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 3:30 PM NST 4 December 2016 Tonight and Monday At 3:30 p.m. NST today departing low 987 mb located southeast of
the Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight low 966 mb located east of the Flemish Cap.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Monday approaching low 966 mb located northeast
of Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:16 PM NST 4 December 2016 A low pressure system southeast of the Grand Banks will dissipate
this evening. Strong to gale force north to northeasterlies over
southern waters in the wake of this system will gradually diminish
tonight into Monday.

Meanwhile, an intense low pressure system well east of the Flemish
Cap is forecast to begin its slow approach towards Belle Isle Bank
tonight and Monday. Gale force northwesterly winds are expected to
develop over Belle Isle Bank Monday afternoon as the system draws
closer.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and the Southwestern Grand Banks.
