Issued 3:30 PM NST 19 February 2017 Tonight and Monday At 3:30 p.m. NST today low 993 mb located over the Burin Peninsula.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday departing low 998 mb located east of Funk
Island Bank.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today quasi-stationary trough from 993 mb
low located on a line east-west over the Southwest Coast of
Newfoundland.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today low 1000 mb located over New Brunswick.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Monday low 1004 mb located south of Laurentian Fan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:26 PM NST 19 February 2017 A low pressure system over the Burin Peninsula will track
northeastward to lie east of Funk Island Bank by tonight. Strong to
gale force southerly winds over southern and eastern waters ahead of
this system will diminish to moderate southwesterlies as it departs.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank - eastern half and the Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Gulf waters and Belle Isle Bank.
