Issued 10:00 AM NDT 23 September 2017 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 993 mb located near Lake
Melville.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight departing low 989 mb located east of
Belle Isle Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today dissipating ridge located southeast of
the Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT Sunday approaching ridge located over the
Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:54 AM NDT 23 September 2017 A low pressure system near Lake Melville will continue to deepen as
it moves eastward across Southeastern Labrador this morning. It will
then cross the northern marine district later today. Over northern
waters, gale force southwesterlies ahead of the low will veer to gale
force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, East Coast - north of Cape St.
Francis, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
