Issued 10:00 AM NST 1 February 2015 Today Tonight and Monday At 10:00 a.m. NST today deepening low 989 mb located over the
northern Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Monday low 970 mb located over northwestern
Labrador Sea.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today trough from 989 mb low located over the
southwestern Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday trough located east of the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:55 AM NST 1 February 2015 A low pressure system over the Northern Gulf of St Lawrence will
intensify as it moves northward across Southeastern Labrador today
and continues into the Labrador Sea tonight. Strong to gale force
westerlies will spread across the marine district tonight or early
Monday behind the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port, Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast,
Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, Northern Grand
Banks and the Southwestern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the Grand Banks.
