At 10:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 1012 mb located south of
the Marine District.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Monday departing low 994 mb located east of the
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:43 AM NDT 1 May 2016 A strengthening low pressure system is expected to pass just
southeast of the Grand Banks today and tonight. As a result, strong
to gale force northeasterlies are expected to develop this afternoon
over the Southern Grand Banks and become northwesterly overnight
tonight. Winds will diminish Monday morning as the low departs.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Southeastern Grand Banks.
