James Bay.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today high 1049 mb located off Nova Scotia.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Friday high 1047 mb located over the southeastern
Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NST Friday approaching trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over eastern Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:49 AM NST 26 November 2015 An intensifying low pressure system will track northeastward through
Northern Quebec today and across the Northern Labrador Sea tonight.
On Friday, an elongated trough of low pressure extending from Eastern
Quebec to the Southern United States will slowly approach Gulf
waters. Meanwhile, a very strong area of high pressure will build
over the Grand Banks. Strong to gale force southwesterly winds will
develop today between these features and will persist through Friday.
Storm force southwesterlies can be expected tonight over the Strait
of Belle Isle.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
the Strait of Belle Isle. Gale warnings are in effect for Northeast
Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port, East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis,
Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle.
