Issued 10:00 AM NST 27 January 2015 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. NST today departing trough located east of Belle
Isle Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today ridge located from Quebec to the Grand
Banks.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Wednesday departing ridge located over Labrador
Sea.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today trough located southwest of the Marine
District.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Wednesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:49 AM NST 27 January 2015 An intense trough of low pressure northeast of Belle Isle Bank will
continue to move away from the marine district today. Gale force
northwesterlies southwest of the trough will diminish today as it
moves away.

A warm frontal trough, extending from an intense low pressure system
approaching the Maritimes, will move slowly northward across the
Grand Banks today and across Newfoundland tonight and Wednesday.
Gale force east to northeasterly winds will develop ahead of the
trough then shift to strong to gale force southerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Belle Isle Bank - southwestern half.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except South Coast, East Coast - Cape St.
Francis and south, and the Grand Banks.
