St. Lawrence River.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Monday weakening low 992 mb located west of
Anticosti Island.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough from low located over the Great
Northern Peninsula.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Monday trough from low located over northern
Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:56 PM NDT 23 October 2016 A low pressure system northwest of the St. Lawrence River will slowly
move southeastward tonight. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure
extending eastward from the low across the Great Northern Peninsula
will move to lie over the Belle Isle Bank tonight. Strong to gale
force northeasterlies north of the trough will slowly diminish.
South of the trough, strong to gale force southerlies will
Weaken as a second weaker trough moves over the region.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank - northern half, Northern Grand Banks and
Southeastern Grand Banks.
