Issued 8:00 PM NST 30 January 2015 Tonight and Saturday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight low 996 mb located over Funk Island Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Saturday departing low 990 mb located northeast
of the Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight deepening low 999 mb located southwest
of Nova Scotia.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Saturday low 985 mb located over Nova Scotia.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing ridge located over Greenland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:52 PM NST 30 January 2015 A low pressure system over Funk Island Bank will move northeastwards
to lie northeast of the marine district by Saturday morning. Strong
to gale force southerlies to the east and southeast of the low will
shift to strong to gale force westerlies in its wake.

A second low pressure system will move northward and approach the
marine district late on Saturday. Strong to gale force easterlies are
forecast to develop late Saturday ahead of this feature over
southwestern portions of the marine district.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the Strait of Belle Isle, South Coast, East Coast,
Northeast Coast - north of Cape St. John, and the Southwestern Grand
Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au
Port, Northeast Coast and Belle Isle Bank.
